Perennial Marsh

Perennial marsh is confined to Barker Slough, sections of which occur in the extreme southern portion of the property. Dominant plant species are broad-leaved cattail (Typha latifolia), narrow-leaved cattail (Typha angustifolia), and American tule (Scirpus americanus).

At present, only one special-status species has been identified in this area, although Barker Slough may also support other species such as giant garter snake. The one species documented for this association (Group 4) in Barker Slough is:
